The Senior Forum, a new activity at Seminci

10/11/2017.- Adolescents also have their own space in Young Seminci, to encourage that they approach a different type of cinema than that which they usually consume. The section will launch eleven options for high-school aged students at Carrión Theatre, Cervantes Theatre, and Broadway Cinemas. These are in addition to an activity that will premiere in this edition: Seminci Senior Forum, with two special sessions of the films of Meeting Point, Ayúdame a pasar la noche [Help Me Get Through the Night], by José Ramón Chávez Delgado, and Hoy partido a las 3 [Game Today at 3], by Clarisa Navas. Each will be followed by discussions in the Hanging Bridge Adults Center.

Young Seminci’s films include titles such as The Big Sick, by Michael Showalter; Cloudboy, by Meikeminne Clinckspoor; Hjartasteinn, by Gudmundur Arnar Gudmundsson; Hunt for the Wilderpeople, by Taika Waititi; Königin von Niendorf, by Joya Thome; Offline, de Florian Schnell, Sameblod, by Amanda Kernell; Sing Street, by John Carney; Tschick (Goodbye Berlín), by Fatih Akin; Jamais contente (Aurora), by Émilie Deleuze; and You’re Ugly Too (Entre los dos), by Mark Noonan.
