A documentary that describes the path towards the Spanish Transition through songs by singer-songwriter Jeanette, whose voice gives way to those of other ‘rebels’: personalities from the world of politics, journalism, culture or sports against the social and historical backdrop of late Francoism, from the mid-1960s until the Socialist Party came to power in 1982. This was a period marked throughout the world by the awakening of feminism and the demand of young people for their right to be taken into account. The film takes us on a journey through the history of the second half of the 20th century —a journey to the rhythm of Jeanette and her biography 50 years after the release of ‘Soy rebelde’ (‘I am a rebel’), a generational anthem.
