Miguel López Cabanas

Secretary of the Board of Directors of Greenpeace Spain. Born in Madrid, he has a PhD in Psychology and is an expert in Social Administration. He has been deputy director between 1992 and 2010 of the scientific-professional journal ‘Intervención Psicosocial. Revista sobre igualdad y calidad de vida’, published by the College of Psychologists of Madrid. At present he is senior coordinator in the Department of Social Welfare of the Fuenlabrada City Council and a member of the Board of Directors of the Division of Psychology of Social Intervention at the General Council of Psychology of Spain. In addition, he has been an associate professor in the Department of Social Psychology, and the director and coordinator of postgraduate courses at the Complutense University of Madrid (1989-2009).
