Marie-Pierre Richard

Marie-Pierre Richard’s professional practice encompasses film curation, exhibition, distribution and the organisation and promotion of masterclasses and interviews with filmmakers, actors, film critics, historians and academics from Ireland, UK, France, Asia and elsewhere.

Since 2010, she is Festival Director & Programmer/Curator of the French Film Festival at the Irish Film Institute in Dublin. She is co-founder and is the Artistic Director & Programmer/Curator of the East Asia Film Festival Ireland, established in 2017.

Marie-Pierre previously worked in distribution of new and classic films in Paris, and as an independent film programmer/curator and a producer of cultural events based in Dublin.
