Some 13 years ago, while on the bus running through the mountainous areas, through the opaque glassy window, the filmmaker saw afar there was a lone house in the mountain. Strangely, the glimpsed image of that house has been still lurking inside his mind since then. The Tree House is the journey to search for the image of the lone house in his memory and while doing so, the present reality unfolds the stories of the people who live in the godforsaken places in the mountains of Vietnam.
