After decades of feeling oppressed, 50-year-old Manana decides to relinquish her domestic duties and leaves her family in order to pursue her dream of becoming a writer. Her former stagnation as well as her current process of emancipation will become the focal point of her autobiographic fiction. And yet, the explicit content of her writing is frowned upon by those who see themselves mirrored in her pages. Manana will have to bury her past and break loose from the ties that bind her to her loved ones in order to fully liberate herself.
