With cash awards of 75,000 € for the Spanish distributor of awarded film.

Silver Spike Feature-length

With cash awards of 25,000 for the Spanish distributors of awarded film.

‘Pilar Miró’ prize to the Best New Director

Competing for director with a first or second feature-length for the cinema. The filmmaker receives a cash award of 10.000 €.

‘Ribera de Duero’ Best Director Award

With cash awards of 6,000 €.

‘Miguel Delibes’ Award to the Best Script

Created in 2010 as a tribute to Miguel Delibes.

Best Director of Photography Award
‘José Salcedo’ Award for Best Editing

The winner will receive 2,000 €, and is selected as one of the candidates in the category ‘European Short Film’ at the European Film Awards.

Golden Spike Short

With cash award of 6,000 € for the director of the awarded film.

Silver Spike Short

With cash award of 3,000 € for the director of the awarded film.

Best European Short Film

Trophy and 2.000 € for the filmmaker.

Meeting Point

Meeting Point Best Feature

The director of the feature will receive 20,000 €.

Meeting Point Best Foreign Short

The director of the short will receive 3,000 €.

‘A Night of Spanish Shorts’ Prize

The subsection ‘A Night of Spanish Shorts’ will have a separate cash award of 3,000 € for the director of the winning film.

Time of History

Time of History First Prize

Best Documentary, with a prize of 25,000 € to the filmmaker.

Time of History Second Prize

The jury of Time of History will award a Second Prize of 15,000 € to the filmmaker. The prize must be conferred.

Best Documentary Short Film

The jury will also award a Prize of 3,000 € to the Best Documentary Short Fil

Other Awards

Award to a Short Film from Castile and Leon

A award given by a local judge for the short films shown in the category of ‘Castilla y León Short’, that show works from directors from Castilla y León or the surrounding area.

Doc. España

Premio Doc. Spain
A Jury of three Spanish professionals will award a prize of 6.000 € to the filmmaker of the BEST DOCUMENTARY in the DOC. SPAIN section

Rainbow Award

This prize will be presented to the film that depicts sexual diversity and gender identity, portraying them with artistic and social relevance.

Green Award

Trophy for the film which best raises awareness of the need to protect our planet and environment.

FIPRESCI Award

Framed certificate. Three members of the International Federation of Film Critics critics will award the prize to a film in the Official Section.

‘Seminci Joven’ Award

An award recognized by youth as the best feature film presented in this category. A Prize of 6. 000 € is awarded to the director of the winning film, according to the votes of the young spectators.

Audience Awards Official Section, «Meeting Point» Section and «Time of History» section

Trophies. The audience acts as a Jury and casts their votes after each screening.

FUNDOS Award

This prize, endowed with € 6,000, will be awarded to the director of that film, programmed in the sections in competition of the festival, that best shows the phenomenon of transformation and social innovation.


Apart from the above-mentioned Awards, the Festival may include other sponsored awards.
HONOURARY TROPHIES may also be awarded. The Festival will submit proposals for these awards to the President of the Municipal Foundation of Culture for his/her approval.
